These reels are a favourite choice for guides and lodges due to their reliable performance and sharp look. The MR3 has a large, shallow spool allowing for a very fast line retrieve when the salmon of a lifetime is running quickly toward you and you need to keep the pressure on. These reels come set up for retrieving right-handed but can be easily switched to a left-handed retrieve. The MR3 can be purchased in four standard colours, the always popular and signature Gold as well as Blue, Black and Silver (Clear). Occasionally Islander offers some special runs of different colours of MR3's.
