 A little history…

It all started with a fridge and a handful of worms. Ivan Berry and his wife Marilyn proved to all that know them, that with a little sweat and perseverance, you can accomplish your dream. In the spring of 1972, Ivan and Marilyn began Berry’s Bait & Tackle, by selling dew worms from their basement. Within a few short years the Berry's had established one of the best fishing tackle stores in British Columbia.  We have now been in business for over 39 years providing quality products for fishing in Vancouver, which is no small feat, especially in these current economic times.

We stock products from 100's of different manufacturer's and literally thousands of different fishing and fishing related items.

Rods, reels, fishing line, terminal tackle, fly fishing tackle as well as fly tying materials and tools, pontoon boats, waders, clothing, sounders, downriggers, flashers, polarized sunglasses, smokers & fishing lures - 100's of different ones.... and we are adding new products everyday.

Berry's Bait & Tackle has become the trusted source for fishing tackle in Vancouver and throughout the province. We have an online fishing report as well as a free local report that can be accessed by phone at 604-638-5899.

The expert staff live to fish, and will help you get set up right for any species that you may be targeting.

Our online store can be accessed 24 hours by going to our catalog section, where our selection is set up by fishing category, and then by manufacturer, for ease of use.

Our Sale section is also set up by category, so you may find what you are looking for easily.

We also have a Clearance section for items that are priced to clear.

Our shipping pricing is tied directly to the Canada Post website and you pay just what they charge us to ship your order - nothing more - no added surcharges!

We feel this is the fair way to charge for shipping.

We hope that you enjoy our website and it helps to enhance your fishing experience.

We welcome your questions and comments, as we always strive to serve you better!
